Effective date: October 23, 2026
Perrone Pharmacy, Incorporated (“Perrone Pharmacy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates perronepharmacy.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only, not to information we collect in the pharmacy or by phone, or to our affiliate PerroneRX, LLC at perronerx.com, which has its own policy.
1. Our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices
Perrone Pharmacy is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). When information you give us through the Site relates to your health, prescriptions, or payment for care, it is protected health information (“PHI”). Our Notice of Privacy Practices, available at perronepharmacy.com/hipaa-notice, describes how we use and disclose PHI and your rights under HIPAA and Texas law. If this Privacy Policy and the Notice of Privacy Practices conflict about PHI, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use Site forms or email us, we collect what you choose to submit, which may include:
- Name, date of birth, phone number, email address, and mailing or delivery address
- Prescription details, such as medication names, allergies, prescriber name, and the pharmacy you are transferring from
- Insurance and payment information
- Information about compounding needs, immunizations, home medical equipment, or delivery requests, including for a pet in your care
- How you prefer that we contact you, and messages you send us through contact forms or email
- Job application details, such as your resume and work history, if you send them to us
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers, or detailed medical history through general contact forms. Our pharmacy team will collect what is needed securely.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and date and time of visit, using cookies and similar technologies. See Section 5.
Information from others. To fill or transfer a prescription, we may receive information from your prescriber, your current pharmacy, your insurer or pharmacy benefit manager, or a caregiver acting on your behalf.
Phone calls. All calls with our pharmacy are recorded for quality, training, and recordkeeping. Health information shared on those calls is treated as PHI.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Fill, refill, transfer, compound, and deliver prescriptions
- Verify insurance coverage and process payment
- Respond to questions and service requests
- Schedule and administer immunizations and medication therapy management services
- Send prescription-ready notices, refill reminders, and other service messages you have agreed to receive
- Review job applications
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site
- Comply with pharmacy, health privacy, and other legal obligations
We do not use PHI for marketing without your written authorization, except as HIPAA allows.
4. How we share information
We share information only as described here and in our Notice of Privacy Practices:
- Healthcare and payment partners: your prescribers, other pharmacies during a transfer, insurers, and pharmacy benefit managers, as needed for treatment and payment
- Service providers: companies that host the Site, operate our online refill portal, deliver prescriptions, send email and text messages, or support our operations, under contracts that require them to protect the information (including business associate agreements where PHI is involved)
- Legal and safety: when required by law, court order, or regulators such as the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, or to protect the health and safety of you or others
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections
We do not sell personal information or PHI. We do not share health information with advertisers.
5. Cookies and third-party content
The Site uses cookies that are needed for it to work. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording tools on the Site. The Site loads fonts from Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts, and our contact page displays a Google map. When your browser loads these features, those providers receive your IP address and basic browser information under their own privacy policies.
If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy first. We will not place advertising pixels or session recording tools on pages where you submit prescription, transfer, immunization, or other health information.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some Site features may not work without them. Where required by law, we honor browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.
6. Text messages and email
If you choose to receive texts or emails from us, we may contact you about prescriptions that are ready, refills, order status, delivery, and pharmacy services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help, and use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. We may still contact you about a prescription when needed for your care.
We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in information is shared only with the service providers that send messages on our behalf.
7. Online refill portal and third-party sites
Our online refill portal at 4505775.winrxrefill.com and the Rx2Go mobile app are operated by Computer-Rx on our behalf. The Site also links to services we do not control, such as Facebook and Google Maps. Those services have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them.
8. How we protect information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Information you submit through Site forms is encrypted as it travels from your browser to the Site. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by HIPAA and Texas law.
9. How long we keep information
We keep prescription and health records for the periods required by federal and Texas pharmacy recordkeeping laws. We keep other information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, then delete or de-identify it.
10. Your choices and rights
Your rights regarding PHI, including access, amendment, and an accounting of disclosures, are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
For other personal information, Texas residents and residents of other states with applicable privacy laws may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information you provided to us, subject to legal retention requirements
- Obtain a portable copy of your information
- Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or profiling
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity before responding and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
11. Texas notice of electronic disclosure
Your protected health information may be disclosed electronically. Under Texas law, we must obtain your separate authorization for each electronic disclosure of your protected health information, except when the disclosure is made to another covered entity for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, or certain insurance functions, or as otherwise authorized or required by state or federal law.
12. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. Parents and guardians may manage a child’s prescriptions with our pharmacy team directly.
